Thames Ditton Homes Ltd is a charitable company that operates a sheltered housing unit at Lynton, in Thames Ditton. The company was set up by a group of local people who were inspired to provide this type of accommodation by the then curate at St Nicholas Church, Rev’d Geoffrey Fraser.
It is run by a Management Committee of Members, all volunteers, and it employs one resident manager. Lynton was opened in June 1967 and celebrated its 50th Anniversary in June 1917
Lynton provides sheltered accommodation for individuals capable of independent living.

All units are equipped with a Tunstall life-line system which can be operated via a static cord or a pendant necklace. A resident manager lives on the site and provides support to residents who need it.
Social events are held in the communal lounge or the lovely garden.
